Well I went to enter the upgrade program and didn;t realize it would be a HP with Citizens Bank. I should have done more research because if you have a BK on your credit file they will not approve you. So I have a needless HP and can't ever enter into the upgrade program. Seems wild ot me in 2019 because I have filed BK I cannot get a small loan for a phone! Crazy but figured I'd give people a heads up.
Would love to hear if you have filed AND got into the program.
Its no different than any other loan out of BK. Thats why many get a secured savings loan to build credit. Doesnt matter if its a phone or furmiture. Your out of BK. If it was a car thats a different story. They last longer and a better resale than a phone that will be out of date and be worth hardly nothing in 2 yrs. Plus there no title and they dont repo phones if you default.
The sad part is that phones have gotten so expensive that banks need to give loans for them. Ridiculous.

Try T-MOBILE they may finance you
Verizon would finance me as well but I was trying to avoid a service contract with any 1 provider. I HATE being under an agreement with these service providers.
