On personal cc, I'm 7/24 (due to some upgrades with new cards and closing old ones a year or so ago), 8-10 inq on each bureau in past 6-12 months (couple truck purchases and annual business credit trade line renewals) 730 present exp score, down from 790 on original app.
One month ago, Applied for Ink unlimited, not instant, email approval in about a week. $5000 cli 790 score exp, fewer inq then as well.
The new ink premier was 5 weeks today to approval, just waited it out till today. Had the 30 day message till I received address verification by mail two weeks later, submitted required info, got email with an app number which the robo call gave 2 week message at this point. Today was two more weeks, figured what the hell and called in. Chatted up the analyst, on our annual Amex spend and how much better this card would be, he agreed, talked weather and other things. Not one business question, and 27 min later approved $20,000 with a $4000 flex.
Only have cc relationships, no deposits, with chase going back 10+ years, both businesses approved 10+ years old & easily verified. deep personal file, 21% cl reporting, one card 80%.
They did a second pull for the premier, but it was 30 days since app. he did offer to wait till tomorrow because he couldn't pull a soft on a freeze lift a few min earlier. I laughed and said between autos and business it really didn't matter, go ahead. (Had good feeling about this analyst & wanted him to process it) Even warned him of a 50 point drop because of more balances reporting.
My take, 5/24 must not be a hard rule on business, particularly on the new premier charge card hybrid, because they had every reason in the world to deny that one.
Hope this helps someone on the fence of applying.
Congratulations on your approvals! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! Love seeing stuff like this!
Appreciate all the info, very nice all around, congratulations on your approvals!
Congratulations! IMO Chase is not a generous as AMEX on the CL's so that's awesome!

Congratulations on the approval, and thanks for the info.
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Chase Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congratulations
Congratulations. Well done.
Every once and while....and actually rarely.....Chase allows a over 5/24 approval through.
It's an aberration for the most part.
5/24 rule is in full effect and is very much a hard rule for 99.9+% of all business apps.
This is well documented over the years not only here but on other forums and credit sites.
