So I have had the personal Delta Reserve AmEx for a while. I recently decided to open a business Delta Platinum AmEx for the signup bonus. I'm unsure if I will keep this card and maybe upgrade it to the business Reserve or whatever else in the long term, but for now, i was expecting a welcome bonus of 85k Delta Miles for $4k spend in 3 months. Anyway, I spent the $4k pretty quickly by paying some rent and other ongoing bills with it during the first month. I then paid the account down to $0. The statement closed on 11/21, showing that I had earned the welcome bonus on it. However, the miles have never shown up in my Delta account. The next statement just cut for December, but the only activity showing was me paying the annual fee of $250 off. And the PDF of the December bill is not yet available for some reason. I have chatted and called AmEx asking about it and I have gotten several different answers. One rep said it would be 8-12 weeks, which doesn't seem right to me because AmEx SUBs usually post quickly after hitting the spend requirement. Has anyone else experienced this? TIA!
Opened up a delta platinum business and took about 3 weeks or so after spend fulfilled for it to post alot slower than other delta subs in past to post. Hope this helps
That is out of the norm, but not unheard of with them taking longer to post. My Delta Welcome Offers and similar postings have usually hit my account within a matter of days of the charges settling. I fairly recently tried to downgrade my personal Delta Reserve card but was given a massive spend X receive Y miles offer. (More miles than my original Welcome Offer, even!) I made the charge that put me over on the last Sunday in November and by Saturday the miles had posted, so they are definitely not all taking that long to post. As long as your SkyMiles account is correct in your Amex account, I don't think you would have anything to worry about but if you make it to the next statement closing without seeing them I would definitely reach out again to make sure they have your information correct.

Yep, I can also report a year or two ago when wife completed the Biz Delta Reserve spend relatively quickly it still took two statement cycles before the SUB posted to her account, think the Biz Delta Platinum posted early though so it was a weird situation all around
