My approval is very similar to what Frogman1 wrote about a week ago. American Express offered me 3 months of Amazon Prime membership and I figured, why not since the holidays are upon us. Daddy likes free shipping.
Then I saw that Amex and Amazon sweetened the deal on the new Amazon Business Prime card's sign up bonus from $125 to $150. That made me pull the trigger and apply:
I was instantly approved on Thanksgiving (22 NOV 18) with the standard $2,500 Temporary credit line and at the lowest available APR of 16.24%. 30 minutes after the approval the $150 Amazon gift card was in my Amazon account. The card came in the mail today and I learned that my credit line is $15,000. I am not complaining, but I think its odd that 5 months ago I was approved for the Simply Cash Plus card with $10,600 SL and the middle APR of 19.24%. My score at that time was 812; it went up to 823 (EX) this month probably because my USAA card turned 1 year old. Just strange that the terms on my Amazon card are better 5 months later. One thing to note: even if you click the "Apply Now" button from americanexpress.com's website, you will be directed to an Amazon site to apply. No worries though, no HP for me as an existing Amex member and the card came with my Member Since 99 on the card.
Congratulations on your approval!
Congrats on the Amex Amazon Business!
Congrats!!!
Congrats, do you know if the perks are same as standard Amazon Amex if you do not sign up for the Business Prime $179 annually membership?

Thank you. Forgive me, but I may not understand your question. Are you asking if you nned to have an Amazon Business Prime account with Amazon in order to get the 3% cash back/60 days same as cash on your regular, non-Prime Amex Amazon Business card? No, you do not have to have an Amazon Prime for Business account in order to get your card's benefits. However, if you do have an Amazon Prime for Business account (or even personal Prime), you did yourself a disservice for applying for the regular Amex Amazon Business account.
In your case, you opened the regular, non-Prime Amex card; so you will earn 3% cash back at Amazon or will have the option for 60 days same as cash. This can be used with your regular, personal Amazon account or Amazon Business account.
If you ever do upgrade your personal or business Amazon account to Prime, you will want to call Amex to get your Amex card upgraded for the better cash back/longer same as cash period.
hm I have PRIME on my Amazon Personal account.
I have Amazon Amex linked to my Amazon Business account, could I (had?) link it currently to my personal account for prime services from amazon + Amazon Amex Prime benefits 5%/90days?
I logged into my personal Amazon Prime account and then followed the link from Amex, it brought me to my business account and then said i needed business prime, is it possible to get the Amazon Prime Amex benefits with just the Personal Prime membership? Sorry not trying to hijack your thread Appreciate the clarification
you can link your personal prime to your business account
log in to your personal account
click Your Account > Prime > Share Your Prime Benefits
choose extend Prime shipping to your Amazon Business account
enter your login credentials and then click Extend your Prime shipping benefits
