All I can say is I absolutely love AMEX! I had no cards with them before 2019 and they have become my favorite card issuer and the bank I have the most cards with, 7! Last night I started out with a routine follow up phone call regarding my Platinum Card. I was charged my monthly Walmart+ membership on August 1 and hadn't received my credit yet reimbursing me. Usually I get it a couple of days after the charge. I called on 8/10 and they told me to call back on 8/15 if I didn't get it. Called back 8/15 and that rep said to call back on 8/24. I decided to call on 8/23 though and I'm glad I did.
After issuing me the credit the rep offered me 20,000 MR points on my Platinum if I added an authorized user. Unbeknownst to her, I had been waiting on this exact offer since the day I was approved for the card to add my wife to my card. I gladly accepted the offer, 20K MR points for $2000 in spend in 6 months on the AU's card.
After hanging up I decided to ask for a limit increase on my Blue Business Cash Card. I've had it since September 2020 and I have never asked for nor have I received a limit increase on this card. I asked for my limit to go from $9K to $25K and was instantly approved. I will gladly accept the $16,000 limit increase!
