Amex Business Denied without a HP and not an existing customer?

Very strange I applied for the platinum biz back in June and was denied due to a couple of cards I had maxed. I did a personal prequal to see if they liked me this time and it showed I was prequalified for the Amex Plat. When I applied for the Biz Blue I received an email to check status and it says declined for the Biz Blue but the date is from June when I applied for the Plat biz. Get the message below when I check the status? No HP to any burueas. Any ideas? Considering trying again but I don't want to take the HP if they are going to deny me. EQ 761 EX 736

If you have any other Amex cards, then there probably won't be a hard pull.

If you don't have any other Amex cards, there is going to be a hard pull one way or the other.

But before reapplying I would want to make sure that your application isn't in the system.

I would give things 24-72 hours and check the status again. Often times there can be some system glitches where the submittted application may not display its status online correctly. You can always reach out to their new accounts department to determine if they can access the application.
