1. Yes she can apply
2. I don't think your personal credit will be a factor in her application
Does your wife own any percentage of the business? And what exactly did Amex ask for?
You should also get her real credit scores ck arent used by Amex. She should also be the one filling out the app for the card. It should also be sp since she already has a product with them.
I am in a similar situation. My husband and I own a trucking company. We also have Chase and Amex business cards. They are in my name and the business. So if she fills out the application, has your correct revenue numbers, she should be fine. If you want to go back and check the Chase card, just use a bill. If you have repairs done to the truck in your company name, you can use that bill. You could go down to the local parts store and have them make you out a hand written receipt with your business name on it. We have a truck shop we use for oil changes and quarterly maintenance reports, and have them fill it out in our company name. There should be something you can use to get it done.
If your wife is filling out the application and gets stuck somewhere, post what the question is and someone here can help you out. I have filled out both of those applications and got through it.
We are here to help.
Good luck with the trucking. Its a good time to own trucks. Have a great one!!
