Application DENIED!!!

When doing everything right ends up being wrong. Applied for the US Bank Platinum biz card & the app was rejected because according to them, my overall utilzation was to low. 2 Chase Inks with a combined 80k limits. These underwriting algorithms are trained on risk-reduction, not opportunity optimization. They should reprogram the algorithm to detect & favor what is strategic, low-utilization borrowers with perfect payment histories & who represent the lowest-risk & highest-lifetime-value clients. 

They're currently conducting a manual review, so I'll circle back with the final verdict.

if you don't have a banking relationship with them already, they do have a pretty good business bank bonus as well

Yeah, the $500 is cake.  I just got mine a week ago.  It's a no monthly fee account, so I might actually keep it for a bit.
