Anybody else have any experience with them? Applied online, says they needed my drivers license, my social security card, my bank statement. Faxed all to them on multiple occasions. It's been a month since I applied, and yet, still "we don't know what's going on. Call back in 5 days"

My experience with Barclays is that they are a creepy institution.

My experiences with them would depend on a variety of things. Typically, they're very slow with getting things processed when documents are requested. In this day in age given staff shortages everywhere, it's no surprise that things may take longer to process, so temper expectations.
Did you get confirmation via fax that they received the docs? What number are you calling...is it the regular customer service number? Or, where you given a different number to contact them with your docs?
I called their security department 888 232 0776. It's what the agent on the number on the letter told me to call.
Yes got fax confirmation on all times.
It's just strange to ask me for drivers license, my social security card... I mean talking about identity fraud ....
I applied for this card in October and finally got approved 2 months later in December after going back and forth varifying and resending requested information. After all that work they gave me a 1,000 credit line. The rest of my business cards are 15,000-22,000. The rep said after 6 months they could consider an increase.

lol. It's exactly what is happening right now, glad to confirm I'm not the only one... But man, social security card, drivers license... talking about identity theft if they ever have a breach. I'm only getting it for the status at the hotel... honestly don't plan on using the card to purchase anything at one time above $1000, but it's just makes you wonder why are they so different from AMEX, Chase, Citi...

Yes, sorry I thought I replied. I called their "security" department after calling the "customer service" number on the application letter. 888-232-0776. Everytime I call they say they didn't get something, and ask me to refax to a different number and call back in 7 days.

No worries.
So, as noted by the above poster, it can take a while.
And, not to damper your spirits, but just something to be aware of regarding the reporting of Barclays biz CCs. The comment linked below was posted a couple days ago here on the biz forums by another member, but the jury is still out on the data 🤷♂️
Apparently I was lucky with Barclays in some ways. I had an established corporation and they did not ask for any verification but did have me call in to verify for my Aviator Business Card in mid 2020. The analyst on the phone said it would be no problem to approve me with my credit score and, when I got the card, I did have the lowest interest rate (15.99% I believe) but they gave me a $2K credit limit. I was unhappy with that low limit as well. I finally requested a CLI a few months back and wrote about it here and they approved me for a $23K CLI for a total credit line of $25K. It did require a hard pull for the CLI so be aware about that in the future.

That's definitely encouraging to hear. How long would you say you waited to request a CLI?
