Biz Platinum is going down the drain...imo

Most of those perks were rarely used by most people.  Amex still has a LOT more lounge options than CSR:  Centurion Lounge, international Amex lounges, Delta SkyClub when flying Delta, and many additional lounges that are not covered by Priority Pass, which it also has.  If they would be used organically, the Sak's, Uber, and airline credit totalling $500 nearly covers the individual AF.  There's also FHR, Marriott and HIlton Gold, many auto rental elite statuses, etc. that Chase does not offer.  Amex has some lucrative airline partners that Chase does not have.  Underwriting for CSR is also a much higher standard than Amex Platinum.

Chase and Citi have also been removing card benefits, and while Amex has been removing some they have also been adding quite a few others.  I've not heard of any upcoming changes to CSR where Chase is going to "let them have it."

right, I corrected that.  silly but the big dig for me was losing the lounge arrival feature, I used that for breakfast @ sfo all the time.  boingo was nice, I used it.  CHASE!  lol

Okay, I was scratching my head on the gogo and the wework.  That makes more sense now.  Off to Business Credit we go...

Still not sure what Chase is offering that is so much better, though.  All of the things in my "Platinum has it, Chase doesn't" also apply to the business version, just swap Sak's for Dell and double it, and nix the Uber.

I used the roadside assistance from Schwab Platinum twice in roughly lasy year. One flat tire and one dead battery. The first time was good (flatbed, prompt service). The second was mediocre (driver A never showed up, driver B was fairly late and didn't have a flatbed). And this was in Los Angeles County where auto sales and service shops aren't exactly scarce.

I could see how it would be seldom used if a lot of customers carry AAA.

WeWork has its own problems. I write about real estate on another site and it's generally considered a small real estate company masquerading as a big tech company. They may have initially offered very good terms to Amex but maybe negotiation over a renewal fell apart.

just got back from 5 weeks in europe, got a cold on the plane and I was looking for drama, hence the post.  I just love everything chase, reading about them pumping 5b into the biz warms my heart.  I like the 100k in points from 5 referrals each year, I like primary rental insurance on both cards, I like clis on nearly all my cards without doing anything, I like having 9 cards and not being shutdown.  I just like them.  that said my new love is pnc, they are flat out the best bank i have ever dealt with

edit, almost forgot - chase gives a running balance on their portal.  why ax does not have this and only counts a pending when it completes is a total mystery.  I really want to know where I stay without doing math.  I am not alone on this gripe
