Can we apply for Biz Card with Personal Reports Frozen?

Can we apply for Biz Credit Cards when we have Personal Reports frozen? It is a general question for now. I am planning on keeping my reports frozen till August 2021. The only Biz Cards I am considering to apply is Amex Biz Card and US Bank Biz Card probably some time in August 2021. I have personal credit cards from both those companies now. Can they do SP and approve my Biz card applications with out unfreezing my personal reports ?

They need it unfrozen

Amex only does SP if you're a current cardholder, and even then you can still be HPed

Thanks @Anonymous. I made up my mind freeze the reports for 12 months. They will remain frozen until August 2021. What ever happens it happens. I can live with no CLI's or no new Cards until then.

When you know you're ready just unfreeze and app, then refreeze. Or leave them be and app, while needing to call in to find out why you were declined etc. etc. Your choice.

In most cases Amex doesn't HP, so it may not be as big a deal with them like for any one else. Though there are those exeptions. My last BIZ app for the Amazon Prime last week was a SP.

Hi @Anonymous, I have to take your first advice and unfreeze when I am ready to apply. The reason I froze me accounts is to control my itchy fingers to apply for new credit. By waiting 12 months all my new accounts would be year+ old and there might be score gains. I'll wait till August 2021 and then figure out plan of action. I'll keep the reports frozen till then so I dont try to apply for new credit and get a ding on my scores.
