Applied this morning for it not instant approved and was a bit confused about that as at 3/24 and Experian was pulled at around 840 FICO 8 score. Have 80k other limits with Chase so was wondering if it was limits vs income or anything like that. Long story short called number and got the 7-10 day message I was like oh no as read they are making Chase Business and particularly INKs harder to get recently. Anyways no option to talk to underwriter but hit 0 and sure enough got connected to one. He just confirmed my name, address and email and few other none business things put me on hold then came back and confirmed i applied as sole proprietorship although I do have an EIN but haven't used it for awhile for credit. He then informed my issue was I put a different name than my real name as DBA name. Never caused me issues with Citi or Amex anyways he asked if I would like to change that I said please if this is how you would like it. He did that and put me on hold for another minute or two and came back with an Approval. Only 5k, but that is all I need for this sweet card and very nice sign-up bonus and 0% apr if I so choose to use that. No what type of business, etc type of question as those were asked on application. I was expecting those questions but not the case.
DP's for others: 3/24
HP against EXP: 840+
Personal credit: 800kish
Business credit: 100kish Citi/Amex

Any other questions please feel free to ask. I have a solid profile but that one had me a bit worried whenever you hear 7-10 day message. This wasn't a denial though which was interesting. Anyways now I don't have to think about it all weekend
Nice, congrats!
Great card, congratulations on your approval!
Way to go baby congrats.
Grats!
Note, for years Chase held to the need for an approval that lead to a $3,000 revolving credit line. Today, they have lowered their starting approval credit line to $1,000 revolving credit line (you can go over your credit line Flex).

Thanks all. Ya told analyst if needed to move anything although not asked from another card be willing to do so since some higher limit on other cards but wasn't needed and honestly 5k is enough to easily meet bonus and the 5% cats although will be going certainly outside those to meet bonus. Nice to know can exceed flex limit though.
O one thing when going over your credit limit with flex you need to bring down below your credit limit by next payment date it act like charge card.
Good for you. Congrats on your approval. Enjoy your new card.

WOOHOO!! Congratulations @CreditCuriosity on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Agreed....last time I had applied for a card and then months later for a CLI, neither were instant and I too called in and they asked those very questions you weren't asked....type of business, revenue history, purpose of applying etc. I have just over $100K with them (bus and personal) though at the time...it was about $80K
