Chase Ink PC question

So I did some searching and never really got much of an answer, most of the stuff was on the old ink bold card. Anyway I was thinking about apping for the ink plus card for the sign on bonus and transfer to my csp ur account and then use the 5% categories. The thing is I won't come close to the spend necessary to make the af worth it and was wanting to PC it to the ink cash card before the af hits.

1. Is it possible to PC a chase biz card
2. If so is there a time frame on how long you have to have the card before I can PC
3. The ink cash "cash back" is the same as freedom where they are really just ur points that can be transferred to csp correct?
4. Would you recommend this strategy?

Thanks for your help

1. Dont know if you can PC to INK from another biz card but you would lose out on teh 50K UR sign up bonus.
2. Dont know

3. No, the Ink Cash just gives you cash back. If you wnat UR points you have to get the "Ink Plus" card. Same reward structure but one gives you cash and the other UR.

4. I would recommend applying for the INK Plus as a new app. I beleive you can get a 60K UR offer if you apply in branch. Its a great card with 5X UR on phone, Cable, cell, and office supplies and 2X on travel and gas.

Re: Chase Ink PC question

I am planning on getting the ink plus as a new app for the bonus, I was asking about a PC so I could possibly change to the ink cash before the af hit. Also I'm pretty sure you are wrong about the ink cash not getting ur points and just cash back but I could be wrong, maybe someone else can chime in here

Yes.............Ink plus to Ink Cash or reverse
2. If so is there a time frame on how long you have to have the card before I can PC
IiRC the 13 month rule applies YMMV
3. The ink cash "cash back" is the same as freedom where they are really just ur points that can be transferred to csp correct?
Correct they can be transfered to INK plus as well as CSP
4. Would you recommend this strategy?
No App for sign up bonus and if you don't want one of the cards transfer the limit to the new card

Thanks for your help

Edit crazy format don't know what happened ....Ooops

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Chase Ink PC question

So you are saying app for the ink plus get the bonus then app for the ink cash get that bonus then transfer the limit from the plus and close it, is that correct. And chase won't get upset for bonus chasing for this kind of behavior?

Re: Chase Ink PC question

I think what he was saying is that if you have both the the Ink Plus as well as the INK Cash you can transfer points earned on the INK Cash to your UR account linked to the INK Plus.

If you have just the INK Cash you cannot convert those points earned to UR.

Perhaps you can if you have a CSP and the INK Cash?

It would be worth it to get both the INK Plus and Ink Cash as you can get the sign up bonuses for both giving you 110K UR points.

This is incorrect.  You can transfer UR from Ink Cash to Chase Sapphire Preferred.  Chase Ink Cash is a UR card, just like freedom.

50k sign up bonus for Ink Plus, 200 sign up bonus for Ink cash, your stats are wrong.

+1 Good job Imperfectfuture

To OP do you have either Ink card currently?

Reason I ask is this?

My plan this year was a 2 step process

App Ink cash early in the year get 20,000 UR point  bonus.....Done

Chase usually offers 70,000 point for Ink Plus about August - November

Get that and boom 2 card within about say 9-10 months

90,000 points

+

whatever I earned in spending points

A year later I may keep Ink Plus or dump it, transfer limit to Ink cash and get CSP for bonus and UR point transfer

Before you app think...
