Chase Ink Premier 7-10 day message?

 Applied for my pre-approved offer and got the 7-10 day in writing response. Is that normal, good, bad? I have a ton of accounts and cards with Chase going back to the 80's when it was Bank One in my area. 830 FICO lest than 2% utilization. They have already hit the credit. Just curious.

It's fine, but you might want to give them a call. It's very common with Chase for an application to be kept sitting there, waiting for identity confirmation or some such thing.

Should I call the Chase Private Client line? I never did receive an e-mail. Just he pop up after I applied.

hi!

I recently went through this with my app for the IHG Business, i did wait a couple of days before posting in this community, recommendation was to give them a call.

 

The CSR that took my call asked for some verification documentation and directed me to call them 3-4 hours after submiting said documents, did exactly that and was approved over the phone.

 

I think the number I called initially was 877-470-9042 and used the reference number of the application.

Thank you! I will call them tomorrow.

 

 I appled for an Amazon Chase card in March 2022 and received the same message. A week later I received a letter in the mail but just was too lazy to call and let it expire.

Called the Chase numbers and got nothing. "Wait for the letter" was response with little or no effort to help.

 

Really underwhelming CS. Also called my Private Client number with same reults. About 30 minutes on hold for nothing. Ugh.

welp, tried the backdoor number for application status. No luck there. No applications on file for my ss#. My Fed ID was not recognized.

 

 Guess I will wait for the letter. Chase must have something messed up. This is about the same flow for my application for the Amazon Chase card from 1.5 years ago.

UPDATE: Contacted my Chase business banker. She dug into it a bit and its still "under review" She thought that was a bit odd but we will wait and see.

UPDATE: Received a vague e-mail saying that I have been approved for the Chase Ink Business Preferred. No other info in e-mail other than to look for card and welcome packet in 10 days. Hopefully it will populate in my acccounts before that.

 

 Good news but sure has been an odd process. Will update once I know more about the account.
