DNB Credit Builder - Yes I know

So I have an opportunity to get a line of credit with my lender without PG, revenue is high enough, tax returns checked out, but they require that we have ten tradelines showing on our DNB and currently only have 3.  I have tons of vendors that give us net 30terms but do not report, and I have no problem uploading at least 12.

According to the DNB site they have to verify the trade relationship.  Has anyone used this service, and how is the verification process?

I have 30 days to get these tradelines to show in order to take the offer, or I need to wait another 90-120 days to re-apply.

Any help would be appreciated!

I plan on cancelling the $149 subscription after the loan is secured.

You might consider contacting DnB by phone (if you haven't already)and speak to a live agent to inquire about their process and turn around time on verifications. Their answer, or non-answer may help you decide whether it's a realistic possibility of getting that many verifications done in that short of a time-frame.

Re: DNB Credit Builder - Yes I know

D&B are so slow at adding my trade lines. I call and they only want to sell me their $2k upgrade. I tell them not atvthisctine and the crickets chirp. They don't want to work with me at all without spending a lot of money.

I don't think it's going to work. I don't think they're going to add accounts to your profile just because you ask them to.

Re: DNB Credit Builder - Yes I know

My personal opinion on D&B is they only do things for $$$. I've been trying to get my DUNS number since i filled out the application on 07/05/2024 just to get a lousy DUNS number. I spoke w/ customer service today and the lady had the audacity to suggest I pay $299 to get my DUNS number in 8 days. So unless you're willing to fork over a couple grand they are not going to move fast for anyone. Good luck to you but if it takes this long to get that stupid number, I can only imagine how long it takes to get credit accouts added.

Re: DNB Credit Builder - Yes I know

Update:

I have submitted a dozen tradelines.  These tradlines must have a DUNS number and must be in business for more than one year.  They will email the tradeline asking for the terms, the highest credit, and the last time we did business.

Do not bother tradelines:

  • any company that has a generic email it'll be marked as spam and the person receiving it won't have a clue
  • Email service provider
  • Domain registrar
  • Internet service provider
  • Cell phone provider etc.

Tradelines they will not accept

  • loans
  • credit cards
  • anything financial]
  • banks

Tradelines that work:

  1. Insurance agent
  2. CPA
  3. Plumber
  4. Roofer
  5. Electrician
  6. Supplier you are on a first name basis with
  7. Any business you are hiring or are going to hire that has a recent memory, they love exchanging positive reviews.

The reason these worked for me is because I called them and they were aware that the DNB email was coming within an hour.  In addition, I just hired a new company to do work for us, they asked for a Google review, I agreed so long as they submitted the tradeline in exchange to DNB.

Long story short, I'll have 12 tradelines within a week for $149 and I didn't have to buy a monthly subscription to NAV, Ecredable, or a bunch of supplies I do not need.  Two tradelines have already posted, one with a CL of 25k and one with a CL of $500.

I'm sure once I cancel the service the tradelines will disappear, but by then I'll have my loan and if need be, I can do this again in the future.

Re: DNB Credit Builder - Yes I know

Outside of what you mentioned....I have found CreditKey (though very limited use-cases/opportunities with partners) and ULINE will both pull and report to D&B though as previously mentioned...it wasn't quick to report
