Hadn't seen many new application/approval DPs on this card lately, but I've been looking for a new bonus and wanted to pair it with a 0% APR offer for >6 months that wouldn't hit my personal reports so this one seemed like a good one to try. My DP is below, with a general takeaway that either FNBO has tightened up UW a bit or does more due diligence for their biz cards.
At the end of October I ran FNBO's preapproval tool and was preapproved for (I think) $13.7k for the FNBO Business Evergreen MC. The full application went pending after an EX HP - Sole Prop w/ EIN, <2 years in business, pretty low biz income. I'm not too surprised FNBO balked at it initially given that I'm at ~11/24, 1/12 and have one personal CC reporting something like 60% utilization.
The app status checker stayed parked on pending for two weeks before I got a letter (dated 1 week after the app) asking me to call in. The rep I spoke with was initially confused ("usually the letter tells you what you need to provide") but determined I needed to send in copies of my DL, SS card, and prior 2 year's tax returns...via email or mail. Ugh. I have a personal checking account and 2 CCs with them so in theory they already know who I am. Ultimately I caved and emailed everything over.
Two days later the app status page changed to Approved with a SL of $3k, but I never received an approval email. Ultimately I'm a little miffed - that was a lot of info to provide for a small CL - but hopefully it'll grow with SP's. It'll also mostly keep me out of trouble long enough to get my X/24 numbers and inquiries back down to earth, and it lets me provide you lovely people with a new DP.

Congratulations. It's an excellent card in my book.
I love the 2% cash back and the $100 annual anniversary bonus for $10k spend in the year.
After I'd paid off my promo rate balance, I applied online, and was approved for, a nice soft pull CLI.
BTW I wouldn't classify their reaction as "balking".
PS You might be better off with a low starting limit. Lately, at least with their personal cards, FNBO has been on a CLD binge. Much better to have a low starting limit than to have a high starting limit and then get caught with your pants down.
PPS With all the cards you have, I don't see why you even care about your X/24. What on earth do you need another one for?
Agreed, I've been watching the threads here on their personal CLDs and the small limit makes me feel more comfortable that it'll actually survive. I like this card and actually want it to stick around - might try picking up a biz checking account with them down the road too.
Mostly watching X/24 status because the stars are aligning to where I'll have lots of spending available at a time I can put it on new Chase cards in a year or so. I'm not exactly hurting for existing credit, but one more can't hurt, right?
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your FNBO Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Best wishes on future CLI growth!
