I have 3 new accounts in the last 12 months, but only 1 hard pull (6 months ago). I was wondering how sensitive US Bank would be to this, I kind of want the Tripple Cash rewards Visa, but don't want to burn a HP. The one inquiry is only on EX, TU and EQ have 0.
Any insight would be great!
Thanks in advance.

US Bank is reputed to be very sensitive to inquiries and new accounts.
Had I known that when I applied for that same card -- the Triple Cash Rewards Business Visa -- a little more than 2 years ago, I wouldn't even have bothered applying, because I always have new inquiries and accounts. But I was instantly approved. So who knows?
I think they pulled EX.

Yep, same scenario!

Do you mind me asking how many inquiries and new accounts you had at the time of approval?

I don't mind your asking, but I have no idea.
@SDMarik I looked up my old report from when I got the US Bank Triple Cash, and I had 9 EX inquiries over the prior 12 months. US Bank was my 10th
I just was approved for the Biz Triple Cash. Closed my leverage a week or two ago. 11 inquiries, 4 inquiries in last 12 months.
750 ish TU score. 5/24. 1/12 (last personal approval was in December 22). I churn a good amount.

Given the datapoint in your case, all I can say is that US bank doesn't seem to have any consistent rule/policy on their underwriting criteria. I meant, you got approved for Biz Triple Cash card with 750 score and with 4 inquiries; while they denied me for the same card more than a year ago with picture perfect credit when I had only 1 inquiry and score was in mid 800s...with utilization was even not 1%...had personal and business checking accounts...and investment account as well...I had to ask them to reconsider...and did another HP and asked me tons of documents including two years' business tax returns...and hardly they agreed to approved it for only $3k CL while you got $25k SL right off the gate...So, go figure it out....
I am into credit game for too many years and occasionally visit other credit forums/sites and I have personally never seen anyone getting approved more than 3 inquiries unless I have missed some postings about getting approved with more than 3 inquires...If there are a few people out there in that category then it would be very few...Otherwise, you would notice that it would be right away a denial if there would be more than two inquiries most of the time....Thereby, it's MY assumption that the notion- "YMMV" very much applicable when it comes to US bank....

I am sure your case/situation fell into being exceptional than norm....Very thick profile you have and all other positive factors which most lenders can't ignore.....otherwise, in cases of us (especially in my case), we get hammered down right away so hard even if we would have 3 inquiries despite of score being in mid 800s...
Additional DP. US Bank pulled TU for me. I was hoping for EX where I have less inquiries. USB was something like 9th or 10th inquiry on TU. Score is 721 there. After what seemed like an eternity, I received a text (today) asking me to verify that I applied. I also followed the instructions to call. Very nice CSR completed verification and said I'd receive a decision in a day or two. The pessimist in me feels like it's a denial but we shall see.
