Journey Complete! Last Goal Card Achieved ~_~

Was going to wait until I had a pic to add to this approval but might as well get it out of the way now. Approved for Ink Cash, woohoo! I go with my instincts and last week my instincts said apply for this card again even though Chase denied you for it in January after giving you the runaround. This time I was determined to leave well enough alone and ride it out without calling to possibly get grilled or be denied (again). If they needed me they had my info! Applied Tuesday night, then got antsy but still didn't want to talk to the lending department so I called the verification department on Friday to ask if there was anything needed. Nice guy took my social # and not three seconds later said, "I see this application was approved last night, your credit line is $8,500" I couldn't even find the words to answer him I was in a state of shock lol He was also nice enough to expedite the card for me so it should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. The automated system is no help whatsoever bc even if I call now it still says things are under review. Happy camper right here! Done with any further credit cards and looking forward to consolidating/closing quite a few later this year.

Chase really is quite weird. This is the same lender that denied me this card in January, wouldn't approve me for Hyatt unless I closed Sapphire and transferred that credit line to open it stating they weren't comfortable issuing anymore credit but then approved me for a 4k Slate not even a week later and now Ink Cash which is the highest starting limit they have given me to date. Not even the bare minimum 5k. Smiley Indifferent But whatever it all worked out in the end. Smiley Happy Need to update my signature.

****Dagnabbit! Forgot about the quirky rule of approvals for business cards needing to be put in the business forum. Someone kindly move this please and thanks.****

Update: Finally received the welcome email four days after approval 😁

Congrats HF!

I wouldn't read much into the Hyatt tea leaves, Chase Business is a different animal: I picked up my Ink Cash on a pre-approval when I opened up my business checking account (and supposedly I could've gotten either of the higher tier ones too) when Chase Personal wouldn't have given me the time of day on a CSP app let alone a pre-approval at that time.  I only got the bare minimum approval at 5K but did get an auto-CLI to $6500, and that goes a long way with my SPish expenses.

Either way it's a badass little card, and I know I'm looking forward to the day a couple years from now when my own CC portfolio is complete... other than pouncing on too good to be true future products Cat Tongue

Or leveraging it for business purposes, may have happened by that point.
