I have a BofA Business Customized Cash as well as an Unlimited Cash CC and would like to try and get a 2nd Customized Cash as my spending is nearly split 50/50 between the Computer Services and Business Consulting categories.
In the terms and conditions it says you "may" be declined if you "have or have had" a card in the last 24 months. This seems to indicate that it may be possible for a second. I know you can on the personal side, just not sure on the business side. I'll be past 24 months of opening that account in February of 2025 so I still have some time to wait.
I had two Bank of America BACCR cards until a couple of months ago when BofA closed my first one without warning to my irritation. I opened the first one in June 2020 and moved some of its credit line to my Alaska Business card so it only had a $1500 credit line and I had not used it in three to six months. About a year ago or a little more I had also changed my first one to a Visa from its original Mastercard. The second one I opened in March of 2022. I got bonuses on each one without issue. As far as I can tell, there is no problem having multiples as long as the applications are spaced sufficiently according to BofA's rule.
