Just thought I would throw this out there for anyone such as myself who has held off on getting the Spark Business card. I did not get it for a long time although they continually are sending me offers for it for the obvious reason of Capital One reporting their business cards to personal credit. About 4 months ago I spoke with someone from Cap One that reached out to me. I listened to her sales pitch and then informed her I was not really interested in applying. She of course asked why and I let her know the main reason was because they report business cards to personal credit report. She informed me that Cap One was working on a new platform called Spark Business Cash with Expanded Purchasing Power (much like AMEX) which although they would pull personal credit initially would NOT report to personal credit as long as the account was in good standing (pretty standard I believe). Late last week she touched base back with me and said it was ready to go and provided me a link to apply. After reading through things and asking a few questions (also to have some answers in writing) I went ahead and applied today for this "new" (I guess) product. Instant approval for $30k. 2% cashback on all purchases with no limits, free employee cards, and no reporting to personal credit as long as in good standing. This card also has Expanded Purchasing Power which I believe acts about the same as AMEX does but I'll know more on that later when I actually have the card and try to push the limits If everything is as advertised I feel this may be a pretty good product for some of you all looking for cash back rewards. I do believe this is a new program and may not be available without a link to apply (which she sent me) specifically catered to your business but if you have a Cap One business rep around it may be worth a phone call. Also, I did not have an existing business relationship with them at all and only 2 personal cards with them I have had for many years. They may be trying to become competitive in the business card game! Good luck all!
Congrats on the approval!!! The 2% is competitive with other lenders. Thanks for sharing your experience and DP.
Triple pull? Dp such as score?

I surely hope this works out for you.
Because I have been on the phone with C1 since reading this ....it seemed a good opportunity......and these are the answers I am getting......the Spark 2% Cash Back has always had Expanded Purchasing Power....it isn't new. It says right on the features page about the card.
And the two Spark business reps I was able to talk to both said they knew nothing about a new version of the Spark card that doesn't report to personal.
I sincerely hope it is just uninformed Spark business reps but it surely didn't seem like it.

There were some reports on other sites a few weeks ago. I think DoC also made a post about the update to some of the biz Cap One cards and not reporting to personal anymore. Not all biz cards were included on that update.
I'll see if I can find the posts.

Thanks for this.... I really hoped the OP was getting what he was being told.
Congratulations!
