After seeing @SouthJamaica 's post, I decided to give this card a second look now that it earns 3% on PayPal purchases -- just like the personal PPMC.
I make a bunch of business purchases with merchants that take PayPal, so this card is going to get some heavy usage. I wish the SL was higher, but I suppose I could request a CLI in the future. Starting limit is $15k at 17.74% APR. I'm not planning to carry any balances, but I'm surprised about the 'low-ish' APR considering how 99% of my cards have gone up several points.
Now, I'm trying to get familiar with the online portal, but it's kinda odd. I still can't see the card under the main PayPal dashboard, so I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to access it in the future. For now, I've been pretending to apply for the card again, and that takes me back to the approval page, and from there, I go to the card's portal. ![]()
For those with the card, do you eventually see it on the main PayPal page or is it a separate site to log in? Because there's gotta be a direct way to access the account.
Nice SL and approval, congratulations on your new PayPal MC!
Morning after approval:
I don't see the business card on the PayPal portal. I hope I won't have to log in to a different site to manage it.
But now my personal PPMC shows as "Business" on the main portal. Once I click on it, the name changes back to normal.
I hope this is just a glitch and it gets sorted out. I didn't read any rules, but also hope you're allowed to have both Personal and Business cards.
Maybe it just needs to update? Because it's still showing the invite to apply for the business card ![]()
Congratulations on the approval and the nice SL

Don't complain about the starting limit; mine is $2500 ![]()
It's a totally separate log in; it doesn't appear on your PayPal site except as one of your payment methods.

I believe when I updated my personal account from personal to business to utilize PayPal Working capital, they canceled all my personal PayPal cards (debit + credit).
They do not mix personal accounts with business. So if you used your personal account to app for one of their business products. Expect to have your personal cards canceled and replaced with Biz versions.
That was my experience anyways.

Thanks! I was afraid it'd be a separate login ![]()
Anyway, how are you supposed to get to the online portal directly then? I've been clicking on "Apply" to get back to the approval message, and then, I go to the card dashboard from there, but there's gotta be another way... Is there a link to it somewhere?

Thanks for the heads-up! I hope that doesn't happen to me. I've had the PPMC for over 3 years now. When I got that card, my PayPal account was already a business account, so it's been fine all this time *knock on wood*
I applied for this biz card from the same PayPal account, so I hope I didn't screw myself up.

Wow, that's crazy, to just cancel your personal cards.
But yet another illustration of why it's good not to mix business and personal.
I have a business PayPal account and a personal PayPal account, and never the twain shall meet.

Good luck.
Paypal has been cracking down lately. They even eliminated the no fee gift/friends and family option due to so many people abusing it for Biz transactions.
Hopefully you can keep both cards, but don't be shocked if they cancel one.
