I literally have a Sams Club Store Business Card NO PG with a $7k limit for YEARS! EVERY STINKING TIME I apply for mastercard it goes to verification but they won't ask me ANYTHING in the verification call and say it went to review (which is not true) but they insist it's still pending and then receive this stupid letter.
Same thing happened to me. I've applied twice. The first time i was denied i never received a letter. I waited a couple months and went back to Sams Club to apply again and they told me it was still pending therefore i couldn't apply. After an hour of talking to different managers and calling Synchrony, they gave me a new membership number. I finally did the application and it was denied again. Got the letter and it said "Unable to verify business" which is B.S. i have 3 business credit cards with Synchrony already so i dont know what they're talking about.

I'm very interested in this situation as I am interested in this card MC version. Could this verification problem be because it's a no-pg app? Do you have any credit with Synch that is pg?
Just wondering if Synch is tightening up on biz credit and Beneficial Ownership.

I worded that wrong...has your business ever had credit with Synchrony in the past where you were pg, signed Beneficial Ownership? Are you a Sole Proprietor or S-Corp?
If S-Corp without the Beneficial Ownership (verification) I could see that possibly being the case.

LLC falls under the same verification rule as S-Corp.
Did any CSR ask you to sign the Beneficial Ownership for the Co-branded Sam's MasterCard? (not for pg but for verification purposes) If not, this could be the verification problem. If you didn't sign you could have them email docusign and then recon.

I have direct business Lending and Business Verification numbers that they don't even give the store associates and they do not have any power once computer has ruled!
I call verification each application but then they ask me nothing... I've been told the computer dictates what it wants them to verify.

ahhhh, this has been a thorn in your side for years now!! Seriously....I don't know what to do or say. I tried about a year and half ago for the Biz MC in store, and I think you remember my fiasco because I called you!! LOL.... 2 hours in store on the phone for verification, and I had all my paperwork with me as I came prepared to do battle!!
At my location, there is a specific "business mangager" , along with the store manager who helps manage the business customers, and he told me next time I wanted to apply to call him, make an appointment to come in and we would do the application back in his office. He apparently knew the issues, and how to get around some of that. So, try asking for the contact number to your "business manager" of your particular store.

1.The CSR told me i couldnt apply because the system had my old app as "still pending". I called sync and they couldnt remove it from the system. He said the only way to do it would be with a new membership number.
2. Most recent app was no pg
3. No pg on my Lowes, Amazon and JC Penney Business cards
