A few months ago I posted about a restaurant that my brother and I run. The business is in his name. We are an s-corp and have been since early 2012. He does not have a thick credit history, but not a bad one. To be honest - he could care less about credit - but We are spending so much money every week that I finally told him that we needed to build the businesses credit! Im tired of thinking about how much cash back we are losing!!! I am in the process of rebuilding my own - and have made HUGE improvments over the past couple years. Anyways, Fast forward to me getting us a duns number and a net 30 account with U-line. We have been so busy that I havent had a chance to do much more research until now. This week we got a preapproval letter from fuelman for a fleet card. We have catering trailers, utility trailers, a couple diesel trucks, and are going to be purchasing a delivery van this quarter, so I say why not. We need a gas card. We got approved with fuelman and are waiting to get those cards in, but the huge win in my books is getting INSTANTLY approved online for a Shell small business gas card. The application asks how much credit you would like extended and I put 2k to be conservative. Very excited to get approved by citi and continue to build our business credit. Last year the business brought in 1.8M in revenue so we were able to get the account without having to PG as well. Had to share the good news with you all. Any suggestions on what our next move should be?
Citi is also Mobile, Staples.
amazon corporate revolving credit by sync can be a good one.
Congrats.... You Could Try For Exxon/Mobile & Sunoco Corporate, You're Likely To Get Approved For Those As Well. I'd Also Try For Amazon Corp Revolving, The App Will Ask For SS#, But You Can Leave It Blank And Should Be Able To Submit The App. Citi Also Issues Staples & Office Depot But Unlike The Gas Cards They Might Want PG

Thats a decent limit for a Shell card...I had the personal card a few years ago for $500. Congrats to you on getting the card with a decent useable limit too!
Thanks! I would have been happy with any starting point with citi, but it feels good - like you said - to have a useable limit to start with! Treating all these accounts like gold!
