Have any of you applied for the Walmart Corporate Gift Card Program? I found out about it from some youtube video that said it would report as a net 30 vendor account, etc. If yes, does it really report?
I cant really find any info on it but here is the link: https://www.walmart.com/cp/corporate-gift-card-program/1087584
I'm just curious if its really another option to get a Net 30 reporting so any info is greatly appreciated!
I can't imagine why there would be reporting to CR for a GC, but since it's a GC you're not out antything. Just get one at a place that you shop?
Then wait to see if it shows up. I don't have access to BIZ reports or I'd give it a try.
I do not know if it reports but is is a net 30 account that lets you buy bulk gift cards for employees.
As far as i can tell, it's payment due at the time of order. No terms or open accounts. You can place the order, however it will not be released until payment is received via CC, ACH, MO, Check, Wire Transfer. Appears to be more of a order management service for repeat customers (businesses) who do volume GC purchases. You can designate seperate mailing destinations for individual receipt and control activation remotely for security purposes. Also, by being confirmed by their business department, you are then allowed to purchase large quantities of GCs without getting a visit from "the man" as you are designated as a legitimate purchaser and not a "undesireable" using them for illicit purposes.
I could also be totally offbase with my assessment ![]()
FYI, this may not have always been the case as Walmart's business programs have changed over the years as evidenced by them no longer accepting applications for their revolving "Business" store card.

Curious as to how old that youtube video was. If fairly recent I would be suspicious as to the accuracy of the vlogger's information. I have found that the topic of Business Credit is trending on the youtube and is ripe for click bait exploitation. Leary of those recommending net account sources without personal experience with the vendor themselves (on the youtube at least). There seems to be guarded source information as these vendors change reporting status fairly quickly in the whole scheme of things. Mostly all discuss the top 5 and new information for accounts seems to dry up from there as they attempt to "sell" their services beyond that point.
