AMEX 3 X CLI denied.....when should I retry

Tried the AMEX 3 CLI earlier than 61 days and, of course, got denied. Do I need to wait 90 days to try again or would I still be eligible for 61 day after account opening?

Anyone?

If you were just too early I would try again at 61 days. That's what I did and was approved.

That is great news. My 61 day is on April 9th. At least, I think, that still puts me on tracl for my 2nd CLI in November (which is what I was planning since Christmas will be right around the corner. MY installment loan will be paid off and I hope to stay on schedule and get utilization down to 15%.

I wanted to get the BCE and/or ED and tried at the same time my Delta got approved. However, I was shot down and still waiting on letter to figure out why?

Yeah same happened to me after I got Delta. Apped ED almost 2 months later and got denied. Still have two baddies on EX and think my score was 675. Obviously different underwriting requirements.

I am thinking 700+ is good for ED or BCE. Could probably get it with high 600's but everything would have to fall into place. AAofA, Utilization and DTI. Of course having a history with Amex as a new card member might help or hinder the approval.
