Was declined for having a BK on my report. Doesn't make much sense since I was approved for the card in the first place. Lol. I guess I must've "slipped through the cracks."
Have any of you experienced this?

There have been reports from others of this happening. It just means that you were a marginal approval, and Amex wants to see some history with the card before increasing their exposure.
I agree with CAPTOOL's statement.
I was instantly approved in December 2014 for a $5k revolver and have yet to be able to get a CLI of any kind... citing my 6+ year old BK13 that is due to fall off in the coming months.

Hmm, very interesting. I'm certainly alright with what I have. I guess I've just read about this working so often with otheres here, I didn't really think there would be a reason it would be declined.
