AMEX BCE Denied 3x CLI activation

I just got my Amex Blue Cash , i activated it, and requested a 3x CLI as many have said. im guessing it was declied. because it just said i will receive a letter between 5-7 days. will try in 90 days 2k for now!

Usually they are instant.  If you got any other message, it's most likely a decline.

I hit the luv button after activation and did not receive an immediate approval message.  Within 10 minutes, saw the 3x cli reflected on my account.  GL on the next one OP!

EDIT:
IIRC the message received said something about the system was updating.  I was actually worried it didn't go through and was contemplating submiting again lol.

The new "rules" for Amex CLI are: a) 90 days from denial and b) 180 days from approval, in only 1 card.

You can try after 61 days, but that rule is gone. It will say that there is not enough time since last try (or something like that) and that will not reset the clock. Of course, they can change that at any time, so anyone is welcome to try new things and report if anything changes.
