AMEX BCP & Delta Gold

Ok so I apped for the BCP and was instantly denied and called to request a reconsideration and the status has changed to "in progress". Lets hope for the best.

Once the status of the BCP changed to "in progress" I apped for the Delta Gold and got the 14 day message. Not sure what that means. My Ex score is 728 (yesterday Ex was 640) and file is clean but thin. 7 student loans, BofA, 2xCAP1, Discover, USAA, PENFED LOC,; Reported Utilization is around 1% on one card only, other cards report $0 balance. AAoA is 18 months thanks to a 13 year old CAP1/Bestbuy account that is closed but hanging around my Ex file. 

Backstory: Was denied for the Green Charge Card and Delta Gold in March due to a chargeoff that is no longer their, hence the score increase.

Please let me know your opinions.

Good luck on your apps. Let us know how it goes. I was denied 2 times for BCE and then approved for Delta Gold months later. Once I was established AMEX customer I again tries for BCE and Everyday card and was denied 4 times (all via SP). Just yesterday when my EX rose to 682 I got approved for BCE and PRG both in one day and with 1 HP.

Still not sure why. When I get the letter I will let you know.  Guess I will try again in 2017.

Well as a matter of fact I just got off the phone with the Amex squad in India. They declined me for all. I am just gonna wait on the letter and see what their issue is. It would be nice to speak with an AMEX employee from the states for once.

All of this with a 744 score in your sig? Maybe there is more to it than just that, but it's kind of surprising.
