AMEX CLI JOKE

so i was dennied 100 days ago for a 3x cli due to not enough time with amex. credit is good and i tried again yesterday , "will hear in7-10 days" we all know what that means.

so  i called to ask what happened the rep told me it was based on my credit score. i was like WHAT?! then i called some number i got from here that took me to india, i already knew then that it was gonna be a mess.

the guy told me they used my score from the last time i applied , i mean, i wanted my accurate score not some old score, and let there be a hard pull if need be...

how in the world i will fight this...

Really there is no way to fight it. AMX just may not be the creditor for you. Like you have have had some minor issues with limits. So for me I just moved on to Chase. I think in the correct time my limits with Chase will just go ot the sky! However, there is a certain time frame that one must wait.

I got great scsores, high CLI on most of my cards but not every lender is as friendly. Sync seems to like me but I want Chase for my Mistress!

What was the score they cited?  How long have you had the card?  What was your initial CL?

you will have to wait another month and see if they update the credit report on file and try again.

but sometimes you just can't get CLI with amex... my partner is denied CLI on all his accounts but he was able to apply and get approved for a new account with $13,400 limit, higher than some of the accounts he is trying to CLI even with 3x cli... who knows!
