Are you carrying balances elsewhere? They say relative to your income meaning they looked at your ability to pay.

Re: AMEX CLI denied

From my own experiences and observations on various credit sites over the years, I have learned and realized that once a lender (any lender) doesn't want to extend a credit then they would throw the book on you for all kinda reasonings even though those reasonings seem not applicable to you and make no sense at all. Also, 99% of the time those reasonings are computer generated than a manual one. I am sure it has happened to everyone...It certainly happened to me more often than I can count.

Sorry, about NOT getting an increase.

Re: AMEX CLI denied

At what number does AMEX ask for bank statements. Is it 25k or 35k?

Depends.

My DW was fine at $35k, wanted income verification at $40k.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.

Re: AMEX CLI denied

I just got denied for insufficient income. I was trying to go from 9k to 15k. I have 3 Amex cards a BCP with 9k, Hilton no AF with 1k and a Gold with 10k POT. My income is only 28k. I guess I hit the max Amex is willing to give me
