AMEX CLI not eligible

So I called in to a rep and asked if my account was eligible for a credit limit increase after 61 days, she said not until 6 months. Which I'm sure isn't correct, most likely at the 91 day mark like most recent folks.

Re: AMEX CLI not eligible

Did you already try to request one via the CLI link? Somewhere on the forums you can find the direct link to it if the button is not showing for you under "Account Management".

I spoke to Amex back in mid April nd was told I had to wait until my 6 month mark as well.  I called last week (almost 6 months) and got a CLI no problem,

Re: AMEX CLI not eligible

Which Amex is it? Some of them (BCP In particular) have a 6 month wait for an initial CLI on them.

I didn't have to wait the full 6 months.

Granted, I did have to wait longer than 61/91 days, but not 181 days. I asked and got approved for the 3x CLI at around 106 days.

I have the Charles Schwab Investor card. No link shows up yet and says account too recent.

I'm not sure about that card if it uses the same Amex portal, but the CLI link in general has been missing for a while now, regardless of whether you're eligible or not.

Re: AMEX CLI not eligible

I openened the BCP in March 2022 I tried via the link someone posted on here and via chat with a AMEX rep at 61 days via the link I was not eligiblle since account was new same with rep. On June 22 2022 I was 98 days I contacted AMEX again via chat  still got denied so I tried the link again and this time it took me to the page for CLI. I Went from 1k to 3k and 4 days later I tried it again and it took me to the CLI page and got approved for 9k keep trying you will eventually get approved for your CLI.
