AMEX Chances

I haven't received any pre-qualified offers. Do I have a chance at either the SPG or ED? Thanks in advance. Stats: 695 EX Income high-$80s 13 INQs, 8 of which are a result of financing a car this past March. AAoA 4.1 years Util 0% Last late payment 14 months ago. One current revolving account, Capital One Quicksilve One - $800.

Absolutely. With those stats I've be shocked if you didn't get approved.

I was a bit put off by the lack of a pre-qualified offer. Cold-apping just seems

risky.

Nah I don't think that's an indication of whether you'd be approved or not. Those stats are pretty iron clad.

Unfortunately, 30-day lates are the cause. And those inqs from March....

If you didn't receive a pre approval from American Express then I wouldn't apply for the SPG or ED.

So it's better not to apply for the ED or SPG without the pre qualified offer? I didn't think it was possible to pre qualify for the SPG.
