Had a AMEX Gold charged off in 2018, settled for less than full and now have the Optima. Unless the Optima is upgraded am I **bleep** out of luck for an approval while the CO is still on my CR?
You have to have the Optima for 12 months before you can apply for another card. At that point, you just have to meet their criteria. For someone that hasn't paid them back, it would be more of a concern. In your case, the two of you reached a mutually beneficial agreement so it shouldn't hinder you.
+1. I just had a friend who reached 13 months with her Optima and applied and has a revolver and charge. Once you satifsy the 12 months and fit the credit UW guidlines you should be golden, no pun intended.
