AMEX Everyday Card Credit Line Increase at opening??

I activated my BCE Last night and tested it. SL $1000,  Requested $3000 Line [$2000 Increase] Got a $1000 Increase bringing me up to $2000.

So it is possible not sure what the criteria is.

DW was approved for a SL of $3500 on the BCP back in September.  We thought it was pretty low because her scores were pretty good and she was getting SLs larger than that with other lenders.  We app'd for a 3x CLI upon activation and she was instantly approved for a new CL of $10.500.  

So I'd say go for it.  Not a huge downside if you're not approved, you just have to wait 91 days to try again.  Good luck!
