AMEX Platinum question

I am preapproved for the Platinum but wanted to book a hotel and flight tonight.  If I am indeed approved is there a way I can get the card number so I can book everything tonight using the card?  I wouldnt think so but thought I would ask.  Thanks.

Amex will usually provide your card number and a temporary cid after approval. You only get one chance to write it down so be ready.
