Shot down yet again! They told me what I already knew: I have to wait for the ChexSystems pulls to get a bit older. Didn't specify just how long I should wait though, which is expected but annoying.

They are a fantastic CU without any doubt and they have other benefits. The Kasasa Checking offers 2.5% dividends up to $20k with monthly DD and I think it's 15 debit card swipes per month. I use the debit almost every day for my morning biscuit otw to work, or other small gas station purchases to meet the swipes cheaply. Their auto-financing also has really nice rates....probably going to switch to them when I trade in my truck for my new one.
I would certainly keep track to see when those accounts fall off the radar and keep AOD in your sights. The CC is the obvious unicorn there, but again, they have other products worth the membership.

I applied a few times for membership (alone) towards the end of 2021. I didn't receive a single hard pull. I was denied every time so maybe it didn't get to the point of a hard pull... I'm waiting on credit applications until after our house which is why I was just going for membership.

When I was applying a few months ago, they wouldn't give me any reasons. I did have several pulls on ChexSystems for new bank accounts at the beginning of 2021. Can you offer any more info on this? How old was your last pull? What do you gather is a long enough time to wait?
