APR reduction with amex

Has any one has ask for a APR redution with amex? My 0% APR ends in april, from there on is 17.49% (Variable)

What was your experience? any recomendation?

I chatted with them when my 0% finally expired and they dropped it 3% to 14.49% for 12 months.  They don't do 0% offers at all so, you'll be paying interest if you ever carry a balance after it expires.  Discover on the other hand wouldn't reduce the APR temp/perm but, did offfer another 12 months at 0%.
