AU benefit??????

Does being an AU help an individual get a card with certain  lenders.  Been trying to break into a Citibank revolver but can't seem to get one.  I have multiple prime cards including Chase, BOA, Barclays, Wells Fargo, and USAA.  Get declined from Citi because of new accts and inquiries while being able to get new cards from other lenders.  Got the NASA and Diner's Club with tons of inquiries.  I don't think it helps with Amex as I have a Green Card with them and am an AU on DW's Everyday card, can't get an individual revolver from them either.  Any thoughts or experiences with Citi along these lines?

Re: AU benefit??????

I seriously doubt if you become an AU on a Citi account now it's going to help you get approved.  You already have prime cards now and being an AU on any card is basically useless at this point.  Just wait it out until the inquiries age 6 months or so and try again.
