from the world of datapoints...not mine but everyday opened at $25K 12/1/17 ($1K of spend for sub). BCE opened at $1K 12/9/17 (no hp - $2k of spend) 5 min after the portal showed the bce I moved $5K from the everyday to it. ED $20K, BCE $6K
not that it matters but BGR opened 1/16/18 ($5K for the sub in 3 weeks) bgr paid via portal yesterday, refreshed to zero this morning along with the other cards being at zero
started the bce cli at $18K, hit with the 4506T, same for 16 & 14 but not at $12K. noteworthy because $18K might have been achievable and at least in this case the cli was not based off the $1K starting limit. hate to leave $ on the table but bird in hand, etc.
edit post coffee: to clarify, the cardholder got $12K on a card that had an opening limit of $1K, so it would appear in this case that moving the limit bound to the card and made it a real if you will $6K cl and she got a 2x cli

Still confusing. So, opened with $1k, moved $5k over to make $6k total and CLI'd and got $12k from a card that originally had $1k limit. Anyway, pretty cool imo

fine, I am on my 2nd cup I hope you are happy lol. yes this is the point. on DOC and elsewhere there in intel to suggest that 3x CLIs are based off the sl/opening limit. never really believed it myself i mean what, a real cl and a fake post credit line move cl? makes no sense. amex and other add up total exposure and other elements and base a cli off that.

I thought you couldn't move Amex limits around until both accounts are 13 months old?
They’ve either become very lax on the 13 month rule or discarded it altogether. I’ve moved limits twice and none of my cards are 13 months or older.
nope, 2rd card was registered on the portal within a week of the 12/9 app and within 5 min I moved $5K over. both cards were at zero and both >2 weeks old
Wow. And I thought ADD+Sugar High made me type like an idiot.
Go to bed and try retyping this in the morning. Lol.
I went from a $500 Secured Cap1 Card and somehow got Amex with a 10k limit. I'm actually scared to draw attention to myself by hitting the CLI button when the time comes. Lol.
