About Penfed membership sign-up

I signed up a Penfed membership last night, step by step as on its website. At, the final step when I filled my credit card information to pay the fee for a saving account and a National Military Family Association membership, then click Continue, the website showed finishing but until now, I haven't received any confirmation email from Penfed.

I would like to know if it is normal or not, because through searching this forum, many members reported that they got an instant approval.

Anyone who signed up a Penfed membership, please chime and share your experience.

Penfed will often manually review new accounts you should hear something soon you can also call customer service and ask if it was approved.

In my communication I got the signature card, and to mail back a check for 5 dollars. After that I got another paper with member number and a pasdcode to fully enroll online.
