About to app Amazon Prime Visa - quick questions

So I am about to app this afternoon for the Chase Amazon Prime card.  So some quick information here.

  • Last credit card HP with Chase was 8/2016 when they approved me for the CSR.
  • Took a HP on my TU file 2/2017 for some 0% furniture which is written by WF.  Util on this account sits around 40%.
  • Those are the only apps (or HP's if you will) since 8/2016.
  • Current overall util on both EQ and EX is 4%.
  • EX is currently 761 and EQ 773.
  • Total revovling credit with Chase sits at $45K

Questions

  • Has anyone been double HP'd by Chase for this card?  Each Chase CC I have been approved for resulted in a EQ/EX HP.
  • When I was approved for the CSR I was given a SL of $10K.  That is not a complaint but could that be a sign I have maxed out with Chase since that is the lowest SL for that card?
  • I have seen SL's posted here fairly low on the Amazon card in comprison to other Chase cards.  I know I can move CL around but has anyone gotten $10K or more on approval?  I ask because if I am approved for this card it will replace my daily driver for sure.

As always thanks in advance guys!!

When I got the card, Chase pulled TransUnion and Experian.

Can that be regional dependent?  I've been approved for a total of (4) cards with them and all of them were EX/EQ pulls and never my TU.

Had Experian open for the taking, got a letter than wanted TU in all her glory and decided lsst minute to have the wife and gfSmiley Wink. I was at the bottom, $1500 sl. Many with great profiles seem to pull 5k. A few recently like BBS and CBJ have gotten 10 and 9k respectively. Best of luckSmiley Happy

You should definitely get it, and if not should be able to secure on recon with moving some CL to it. And so far this card is the only chase card that I have gotten an auto CLI on, so even if it starts small..there is hope. Also with the CSR wouldn't the FU make a better daily driver? Or do you not travel much?

Edit: If you only have 4-5 cards and 4 of them are already Chase cards, you may get denied and not be able to recon for "too many chase products for now", which for me any way would not reconsider even if I took a lower over all CL with them (offered to take 2k off FU to open a 1.5k Freedom)

I currently hold cards with Wells Fargo, Amex, Cit, and Chase so by no means are all my eggs in one basket.  I currently have (2) Chase cards as I closed the other (2) and transferred the CL.  Also I have the Amex BCP so not sure how that stacks against the FU and what not.

I don't travel like I once did and based on work and personal have no desire to change that anytime in the future.  I did enough miles through previous engagements and don't enjoy it like we once did.

AND.......I have officially hit my ceiling with Chase it seems.  Instant approval but a $500 SL.  I'll be happy to move some CL from my CSR (in fact I really couldn't care much less about keeping that card) but I'll recon first because it never hurts.

Congrats!! $500 is better than nothing, at least you can distribute as you deem fit now.

Exactly and I'm not upset in the least about it.
