I really wanna do the right things and keep my scores high, because I ruined my credit when I was young. (39 now) which program or package should I get for my FICO scores? There are a lot of options. Thanks again for all the help. 🇺🇸

OP your other good option would be PenFed. Both are awesome credit unions to work with! And thanks for your service! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

You can get your scores for $1 for a 7 day trial at credit check total dot com. Just make sure you cancel before the 7 days is up

You can also get all of the score versions from myFICO.com as well

Note- PenFed uses what seems to be a proprietary score. And Navy uses an older model, NOT FICO8.

First of all, Welcome to myFico forum and Thank you so much for your service.

Here's a free Experian score you can get from discover (don't have to be a card holder). Amex, Chase and Citi use EX. It's not what NFCU and Penfed use but just to kind of get a glimpse of your credit score....

Soooo, I've tried it twice and each time I get a "whoops, looks like there was an error on our end, please try again later"
I also have to use a new email each time... so frustrating... has anyone else tried it today?!

I had my wife do it and it worked perfectly! 😡 There is SOMETHING being flagged on my credit apps that is preventing anything from going through! Anyone have any idea of what it could be? Or who I should contact to fix it?!

Turns out there was a security alert on my experience report. I had that removed, and I thought that would fix everything. I still cannot get through the Discover link that was posted above.

Just don't give up. Sometimes we have to do things multiple times, even though it is frustrating. Welcome, by the way!

You just made my day! After taking a deep breath, I called Discover and they walked me through it... even though I had the fraud alerts removed, they are still showing up. (They said probably take 30-60 days to totally remove).

Anyways, Brittany (CSR) walked me through my app and I was approved for a $2000 Discover it card! 🙏🏻😍🇺🇸
