Yes. My oldest credit card (2 year) is with them, have a Direct deposit checking account with them. Nothing could help me.

Many of the BofA Visas come in a lower platinum plus tier that give lower bonuses and earning potential. They bury it in the Rewards terms unfortunately.

Exactly, no where on the application or the screen showing the bonuses does it mention that there's a different version of the card with lesser bonuses.

The benefits and bonus miles to the left apply to Visa Signature cards only. The Annual Fees, benefits and bonus miles for Platinum Plus® cards are different. The $50 discount you mentioned is for the Platinum Plus card, fixedronin. Sorry to hear.

I did the exact same thing earlier this year. Got the AK Air Plat with 5k bonus. Called BofA and transferred CL from BofA travel rewards making the AK Air card a siggy 6k CL  Got the Plat card in the mail. 30 days later got the Siggy Card in the mail. Got the 30 k bonus miles with no problems. Very smooth transition!

Thank you for your constructive reply; when did your account change on the BOA website? I received the good news yesterday that my card was successfully changed to the BOA Visa Signature card, but my account still says "Platinum Plus". Also, while you were waiting for the card to arrive were you using the Plat card to make purchases?

Don't know when it changed as I don't usually go on the web site. I used the Plat card for approx 3-4 weeks until I got the Siggy
