Hey everyone! I've been waiting to apply for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card all month, because my Capital One Venture card wasnt reporting to Experian for some reason. I just check the Experian app and it finally updated an hour ago! My score is now 810 on the Experian app. I was wondering if I should wait a few days now to make sure the report is definitely good, or am I good to apply now? Just want to make sure if I'm applying that everything is perfect before I do so. I heard I can pull a free credit report once a year from a site? Should I do that? I'm assuming if all looks good on there, then that's the report Chase will see, correct? Or do they go back a month or two?
Currently showing 810 FICO score on Experian, 787 Vantage Score on my Chase app, 1 percent UTL, only new account is Capital One Venture card 1 year ago.
Also shows "you're already approved" on my Chase app for the card, but it doesnt show it until I go into offers (the others are on the front page of the app) and it doesnt show an approval limit. I've seen people say it shows a limit for their preapprovals. Mine doesnt.
Anyway, thanks to everyone for all your help during this process!
