Re: Amazon CLI Denied by Credit Solutions

In all the time since i first joined this forum, i don't think anyone is ever gotten a firm handle on how (then GECRB) Synchrony functions with any regularity or why, except for the soft pulls for CLI which is indisputably welcome. Sometimes it can be as little as a crumb ($100), as much as well beyond 5K at one time, or notta as in none at all. They do seem to go off their own time table (whatever that really is) and hard coded into their computer. With requesting thru the CHAT feature, that put a new twist on those requests that the luv button would auto-deny. I been fortunate to benefit from such feature a couple of times but now it seems its hit n miss.

Re: Amazon CLI Denied by Credit Solutions

I've never once been given a CLI by India Credit Solutions.  Not after 4 months, nor after 14.  Not much better luck with the luv button either, so I don't see how they got this reputation for reliable CLIs.  After two years they gave me a small auto CLI.  But I had already stopped using the card by then because it was useless to me compared to other Amazon payment options.  If they'd add the 5% offer to my account I'd start using it again, but I don't think they'll ever give it to me.

Re: Amazon CLI Denied by Credit Solutions

I have some sort of issue with all of my Syn bank cards. Amazon was my first card open on my credit file in 2013. They finally gave me a $200 increase about 3 months ago. Paypal gave 3x cli after 3 months and sams 5x after 4 months. Yet they both hold all of my payments over 7 days. Either saying I make too many payments on my account in a month or the payment is too large and they need to verify. I could see if I always made low payments then suddenly changed my pattern, but it's getting old.

However one thing I did notice is Amazon credit solutions may not be routed to India anymore. Possibly because of the holiday season, but last month I spoke with 2 reps from the states.

Same here. I absolutely abhor that outsourced bunch in indian solutions. While they might talk a nice line, they always comes back with a NO and wait for letter garb.

CHAT is been IMO infinitely more cooperative with some definite positive results! But even that one can be hit or miss lately, maybe because when it finally got some forums publicity everybody and their brother and friends hit the social up and rushed them Smiley Very Happy

If you "push" payments through your bank bill pay to sync you should avoid the holds.

I hope that isn't the case with me. I'm at 700 right now and I consistently order from Amazon.

Re: Amazon CLI Denied by Credit Solutions

I have been stuck with a $600 CL with Amazon for 26 months. They will absolutely not budge at all. Walmart and Sam's are the same ($900 and $600). I love Amazon, but applied at Overstock last week and they gave me an initial CL of $5k, and another $300 for creating an account. VS has gone from $250 to $1500, and would probably be a lot higher if I could ever remember to push the button each month.

Called Synchrony...got a pretty firm NO for CLI on all my accounts. Going to start weeding them out.

Re: Amazon CLI Denied by Credit Solutions

+1

i agree with CA I had a better chances to increased my limit by using chat for example: Walmart card I had it for almost 4 months and it went from $1400 > $1600 in couple months by them, and then It increases to $2500 thru chat & a week later it increased to $3500 also by using chat.

Also I did the same with my Chevron Card it went from $800 > $1000  a week later > $1500 > $2000 by using chat, but Amazon I had always a tough luck $400 until now and I am thinking to close it very soon.
