Being she is at under 10% utilization across the board, she is currently helping her credit score. If she pays it down to 0% utilization, she will lower her credit score would she not? So, shouldn't she app now before that one credit card shows a zero balance and her score drops for being at 0% utilization??
So I have been examining where my spend is and what will benefit me better and the Amazon Prime Visa would be a good fit. I have no HP's on EQ and EX this year but my hesitation on waiting until after 6/1 is a utilization concern on (1) card that reported last month. My current overall utilization reported last month was 9% with one card in particular reported at 41% util which has been paid down to a total balance of $50.

My advice in these situations is always to wait. If waiting another month could mean bringing all of your util to the ideal range, it could mean a $5k approval instead of a $2k approval. No way of knowing for sure, but I'd recommend waiting so you get the most favorable result.
Agree here. If there's ever any doubt, trust your instinct and wait. The card isn't going anywhere; waiting til June seems like a good plan.
