Has anyone seen this error before? I tried to apply once through the Amazon app on my phone and got the error below. Then I tried twice on my computer. The first time I got the same error in the screenshot, and the second time it said I had tried too many times and couldn't try again. I don't have any of my reports locked so i don't understand the issue.

it's a rather common error with that pre-qualification tool
if you are an amazon customer, partiuclarly an amazon prime customer, sign in before you do it again in the future
make sure your experian and tu are unlocked/unfrozen for several days before trying, it won't work if it's been recently locked/frozen
make sure you edit your name/address in the pre-qualification so it matches your reports, don't just let it pre-fill any amazon name/address data from your account
consider signing up for chase's credit journey free experian vantage 3.0 credit monitoring if you don't have any products with them to help them trust who you are and which report is yours
my pre-qualification tool didn't work until I actually physically went into a chase branch and opened a savings account

I was logged in on both devices when I attempted the pre-qualify

My reports have never been frozen

I made sure all info was correct before proceeding

Never heard of this. I'll look into it.

I gave up trying it because I always get the same message.
you should go to a local chase bank and have a rep there apply for you in person, and they'll try to get it approved through a direct call from their desk, even if it's a 1k limit.
don't give up

Try clearing your all of your browers' history.
This is the not the first time I've heard about this circumstance. I was having the same experience. No offers from Chase, CB's weren't locked but kept getting this same error. Found it annoying. Unfortunately, other than saying "its a glitch" I haven't heard of someone getting past this error. In my case, I decided to just apply, despite being unable to prequal. Thankfully, I did...was approved for $35K
same issue here pre tool does not work for me
