Amazon / Walmart CLI - 2 months. Yay!!

I'm so thankful for this board. During the last week of May I opened both a Walmart and Amazon account. I shop Amazon pretty heavily so the card has had a fair amount of use. I haven't used the Walmart account all that much yet. I tried online to request a CLI, but was denied. And then I started receiving an immediate message that an increase could not be processed online.

I saw a number here for Credit Solutions and called. During a very pleasant conversation, the rep granted CLI's on both cards. I think I should have asked for more but I didn't have a number in mind. So, it's been just over 60 days and I have more room on both accounts! Now, I need to look up how long I should wait before making another request.

Thanks to everyone here for sharing so much information. I never would have heard of Credit Solutions otherwise!

Congrats! Credit Solutions can be helpful at Synch. They were good to me when I was rebuilding myself.

So, after reading here that others made second requests immediately after getting a CLI, I decided to give it another shot.

Amazon:

• Starting limit: $800
• With First CLI yesterday: $1100
• With Second CLI today: $3100

Walmart

• Starting Limit: $600
• With First CLI yesterday: $1500
• With Second CLI today: $6000

I'm new at this and guess I still didn't aim high enough! The requests that I made were granted in full. I'm still rebuilding so this is beautiful. And Walmart just became my highest limit card (until Macy's reports a combined credit limit next month). I think I'm done for now. I'll call back in a couple of months and go another round.

(And I guess I posted this in the wrong section. I was just so excited!)
