Amex 3rd card - New Account?

I keep getting pop ups for Hilton card. I currently have a gold card and blue cash. If I app for the Hilton, it should be SP right?

Will it report as a brand new account or will it get backdated since I already have two??

It is generally SP, but can and has resulted in HP for some. Always be prepared for HP.

It's usually backdated, but not always.

Are you sure you want to pull trigger? After your recent FR.

My subsequent Amex cards always appear as new accounts on my reports, but the "member since" date is backdated to the opening of my first one. Which way did you mean it OP?

Thank you @Anonymous I meant on the reports. @M_Smart007 and @blindambition way to keep a gal in check.. I am was wandering towards the gate out of the garden. Maybe PC the Blue to a BCP? My reports are frozen I can't thaw them for anyone....I guess I'll just stick to my banking SUB project. 

Back to the garden I go. I had to ask...lol

Just to clarify what @Anonymous mentioned upthread, new AmEx CCs will report as new accounts on your CRs as the backdating feature ended during 2015.  The Member Since date, however, would be the only cosmetic update that is still available.
