Amex BCE cli denied!!

Just got my BCE today. Activated it. Request 3X increase. Got the 7-10 notice. I guess I pushed my luck. It's ok though.

Is the EX score in your sig the one they pulled when you got the card? What was your SL?

No big deal on the denial, you only have 61 days until you can go for that 3X CLI.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. You see that often with new cards, and they just want you to wait the 61 or 91 days.

Total CL: $321.7k

UTL: 2%

AAoA: 7.0yrs

Baddies: 0

Just to let you know if you are declined for a CLI you must wait 91 days from the date of the request before you can ask for another one.

That's not totally correct. If the denial is because you applied for the CLI before you were eligible you only have to wait to the date that you are eligible. However they usually ask you to call if the reason is timeline. A 7-10 means the denial was because so score. Amex will let you in with mid 600s but you need to be closer to 700 before they start unleashing the 3X CLI. Also remember when you see these great CL the cardholder probably has a decent salary

Have 3 AMEX, Request CLI on Activation = Denied; do you have to wait 90 days from the denial or can you re-request on 61 days?

Any experience shared greatly appreciated!

61 days from approval is when you are eligible for your first CLI.
